Does your label use Spotify Analytics?
Spotify Analytics is the free tool. It gives labels and distributors the data they need from Spotify by providing streaming stats to understand performance across their entire catalog.
If you run a label that has music on Spotify, you can use Spotify Analytics. It gives you access to features that aren’t available in Spotify for Artists. Among others including album-level data, custom date ranges and CSV export for every chart. On May 15, Spotify announced that they’ll be migrating all labels and distributors who have signed up for Spotify Analytics into Spotify for Artists. This will allow everyone on the artist’s team to be working with the same set of insights and profile management tools. Full details can be found in the announcement here. If you’re signed up for Analytics, you won’t have to do anything in terms of creating a new account or claiming a profile at Spotify for Artists. They’ll handle all that for you. Plus, they’ll send you an email in the coming weeks with next steps.
How sign up to Spotify Analytics and get access to your catalog? You’ll need a Spotify account, your work email address (in the same domain as the official label website). If you’re the first person from your organization to request access—you need the URIs of at least 3 albums or songs that you’ve delivered to Spotify.
